Well, I DID paint 30 paintings in 30 days. I painted 3 at the Farmer's Market on Saturday, but guess who forgot to take a picture??? I will be at the Gallery Walk in Oshkosh next Saturday, so I left the new paintings there for the show. lol Oh well, I will post them here at a later date, but did not have a entry for Day 27.

30 Paintings in 30 Days-Day 25 and it's FRIDAY!!

TGIF. It's been a busy week and this weekend proves to be even more so. Date night tonight. I need some quiet time with my hubby for sure then up at the crack of dawn as I make my way to the Farmer's Market for an Art Demo and hopefully some sales. Right after packing that all up, it's lunch with the hubby and grandkids then a two hour drive to close an account at a Gallery. Always a struggle when the Gallery wants to keep you, but you are not generating enough income at this location to make it worth staying. So with all that, I'm still keeping up with my 30 paintings. Helps to paint ahead (wink, wink)! I'm still on the apple kick, but much more whimsical version today which I love to paint. Thanks for stopping by!

I have this great relationship with Studio 3 here in Oshkosh. I show/sell my art there and we hold canvas classes. I taught a "Paint Your Friend, (Spouse)" class tonight and here is my demo. I'm happy with it and it was really a fun class to teach.

My 16th painting this month is from my Canvas Class last night. My lovely group of ladies didn't think they had enough painting experience to do anything too complicated, so they decided on a whimsical "Charlie Brown" Christmas tree. My image is a little blurry, but you get the drift. I think they had a good time.

Day 10-30 Paintings in 30 Days

Hello Fellow Artists and Friends! It's Day 10 of the 30 Paintings in 30 Days. If you know my art, I've got a little series going that has been very popular. It's paintings of children-sort of generic, without faces in happy little scenes. My first one was "Hurry Home" which appears at the top of my blog here and then there was "To the Park" and "Spring in our Step." All originals of these have sold, so I've added another one to the series-this one is titled "Catching Fireflies." I hope you like it.
