Every once in awhile you need to "dip your toes", "bask in the sunshine" and "smell the roses".  This brings you joy.  This makes the rest of the worlds troubles disappear for a bit.  So remember to "Dip your toes" today and enjoy the little things in life.

I Love Sleeping In! 30 in 30

It's nearly 9:00 a.m. and I just pulled myself out of bed for the last day off this holiday season.  I LOVE sleeping in.  Can't wait until the day I can leave the 9-5 grind.  So lots of time to paint will soon be over, but I'll keep on "keeping on" with the 30 Paintings in 30 Days Challenge.  Today's "Joy" is a dancing pig.  lol.  What's not to love about a dancing pig?

Happy New Year and Welcome Back to 30 Paintings in 30 Days!

As promised, I decided to bring some joy into my studio for the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge.  My theme, centered around my whimsical critters is "joy".  To start things off, I kept seeing in my mind the joy expressed when we dance.  Visions of "jump for joy" and "dance like no one is watching" come to mind. Smile and be carefree, even for a few moments of your day.  Let's start out the "30 Paintings in 30 Days" challenge with "Barnyard Bump".  I hope this brings a smile.  Happy 2017!
