Day 30-30 Paintings in 30 Days

Found time to paint.  Missed a few days but did pretty good this month.

Farmhouse decor-Day 25, 30 Paintings in 30 Days

I was envisioning a farmhouse style decor when I painted this one. Very different palette for me, but I am pleased with the results.

Day 24-Oops Missed a Day!

Well, I finally missed a day in this challenge.  No post for the 23rd.  Made it out to my studio tonight for a bit.  Even had to take a picture of this one wet!  I took an abstract landscape class this summer at the Peninsula Art School and Gallery in Door County, WI and I have to make a presentation to the Fine Art Association regarding this experience, so thought I'd practice what I learned a bit!

Hen Party-Day 19-30 Paintings in 30 Days

Well I hope this painting brings you a smile and some "joy" just by viewing it.  Think of all the good times had with your girlfriends.

Icy January-Painting Ahead for 30 Paintings in 30 Days-Day 18

Painted ahead a bit, thank goodness cause the weather has been frightful.  This one is a critter, but not necessarily included in my "joy" theme for the 30in30 challenge.  I think the little guy is still cute, though.

Let's Do the Chicken Dance! - Day 8 - 30 Paintings in 30 Days

Since my theme is "Joy", and I'm concentrating right now on my "critters" and how they might express joy, this image came to mind.  Let's call it the "Chicken Dance"!
I hope you're enjoying the challenge.
